AM Routine:
20-min run (w/ hills, backwards hill running, moderate pace)
PM Routine:
Total time: 75-min
Incline backwards treadmill walking–10-min
High-Intensity Training (HIT)--35-min
2-3min break between sets
Pullover TSC, Bent DB Row; Pushups; DB Rear Raises; DB Overhead Presses; Weighted Squats; SL Weighted Calf Raises; Crunch w/ lumbar pad;
2-mile Treadmill Test--20-min
Completed in: 16:30-min
Incline backwards treadmill walking–10-min
Notes:
- Fatigue: I was fatigued by today. Looking forward to the weekend off. (Maybe will get some walking in tomorrow). My knees need it.
- Treadmill test: 16.5 minutes for two miles after a tough week, a morning run, and intense lifting was a solid result. (I am ahead of schedule for what I'm training for).
- Keeping it simple: Just keeping it simple. Focused. Concentrating. Mastering the fundamentals.
- Ahead of schedule: I'm satisfied with the progress I made after five weeks. I am ahead of schedule and looking forward to the results I can get after another two months.
- 2-mile Goal: I think I can hit 15:00 minutes on the two-mile running test. I am going for it. (Or, at least 15:30).
